Features of stone processing
After the stone is extracted from the quarry, it goes to the workshop for processing. The blocks are lowered into the transport and transported to the workshop. They are unloaded in the workshops and work begins. A variety of products are obtained from rough unhewn stone blocks: paving stones, slabs of various sizes and shapes, curbs, countertops, balusters, slabs, cornices, window sills, monuments, stairs, globes, fountains, and more. Depending on what type of product needs to be obtained at the moment, the stone blocks are processed accordingly. But most blocks go through the stages of sawing, grinding, polishing, edging. If you need to get something special, for example, balls or a unique product to order, then the work begins with special craftsmen who mainly perform such work by hand.
